It makes Ed smile, always pleased by Oswald's willingness to resort to violence. He leans in, nose brushing the underside of Oswald's jaw and then twisting a little to press a soft kiss to his neck, supplicating and submissive.

It's not how Riddler would kiss. Neither would quite kiss like the next one, hand coming up to cradle the other side of Oswald's face and lips coming back to meet his, slow and pressing slightly deeper. But they both have an agreement for the moment. Oswald is more important, this is more important.
