Ed catches the movement and helps Oswald, leaning on one hand, turning into the kisses, into the brush of their cheeks together (and Oswald's skin is softer than his own, it's soft and nice). He tries to help, to get things loosened and he wants to see more of Oswald's skin.
Once, he would've flinched and panicked at having his hand near Oswald's throat but the fear is gone. Oswald would no more let Ed hurt him as let him hurt MartÃn.
