Like myself with Harley. I only know one, the other is a stranger. And with Victor, well, I find the one that has attached himself to Roman Sionis to be a repellent creature, a cruel mockery of the man who arrived in this city with me.

In fairness, I have opinions on golden showers.

Ask him how he got his club. Hint: He asked CR Eator for it rather than actually put it together himself or get the money for buying it.

It would be difficult to be louder and brattier simultaneously.

I generally can't be bothered poking at him, but Oswald enjoys this strange game they play where they're nice to each other's faces while planning terrible things and hating each other.

sounds exhausting when you can just be a dick right to his face. but your bird's like some kind of diplomatic type right? all that back-handed kind of stuff and multilayered insult stuff? it's not really my speed. besides only noble-types blow up as quickly & stupidly as roman does with a nicely-placed comment about one of his insecurities. kinda cathartic. plus he doesn't like my dom so it works out

yeah but lethal traps definitely suggest a definitive end. generally i don't go that far for petty idiots. or i need to get paid real well

Oh, no, Roman I mostly just ignore. He's not actually worth the effort.

Maybe the way that Ed's come out of his shell a bit since Oswald's been here, since they've both been contracted with Vrenille--maybe all of that will make Hakkyuu a less antagonistic figure. Or at least make for a more enjoyable form of antagonism.

so in general how many people have you hated enough to get rid of?

"I understand feeling the need to watch in your circumstances." Vrenille wanted to support Hakkyuu and Hakkyuu would torment himself by watching. "If he turns up, Ed will feed him and get hold of you."

Was there anything else he could do, really? "He's not smoking in the house. Cigars are vile at the best of times." For someone with his sensitivities to sensory input, the lingering smell would drive him crazy.

That's... got a complicated answer.

Lets call it three, but with caveats.

you're going to tell me something like how you *technically* got rid of 2.5 people but you're rounding up or something?

The first one, Ed didn't go there intending to kill him. Just to make him stop hurting Miss Kringle. Dougherty punched him in the stomach and was pulling him up to continue beating him when Ed pulled a switchblade and stabbed him.

The third, I got rid of, but not by killing him, purely because I didn't want to make a martyr of him, he's already the golden child of the gcpd. It was a bad call. I should have killed him.

[There's a slight pause here, not rapid, off-the-cuff reply coming through like it has been so far.]

Pinkney. He was a bully and I didn't like him, so I used him to frame Gordon for murder. I made people think Pinkney was the one who reported Gordon to Internal Affairs for murdering Theo Galavan.

There were a few other deaths in there, but they weren't because I hated them or wanted to get rid of them. I mean, one was a complete accident anyway.

are all your gotham types this complicated?

but i have to say, as someone who had a stint of killing professionally, you have to be really lucky or unlucky to kill someone completely by accident. just sayin'

Maybe? I don't know. Gotham isn't an easy city.

Ed accidentally smothered his then girlfriend. She was trying to hit him a lot and saying she was going to send him to prison and they'd do awful things to him that he deserved.
