Most people, not just humans, people, learn socialisation from exposure, while they're still developing identity and opinion and structured thought. I was denied that. So were you. All the things they take for granted, we have to learn intellectually, rather than having it hard wired into us. And they have little tolerance for the fact that we're different. Social difference makes them feel threatened, so they lash out. To be part of society, we need to be able to blend with them."
