The finger stroking his own makes him glance down and back up with a more direct smile, hints of Ed's content pleased smile in it.
"John is a pharmaceutical genius, but I would hesitate to trust either of them too far. I would only ask you to trust that I know how to handle them. And trust that he is a friend."
